Lisbon City Center

Walk around the old town and visit the castle. The city of Lisbon is filled with cobblestone roads which are packed with awesome restaurants and cute little shops. Visit the popular areas of Biarro Alto and Ciado. We also encourage you to also visit Belem to see some famous landmarks, and don’t forget to stop by for a meal at Time Out Market.

This is a very walkable city but Bolt (Lisbon’s Uber) is also an economical way of getting from place to place. If you are walking, make sure to wear proper footwear as the cobblestones roads can be slippery and the hills steep.

Sintra

Spend the day in Sintra. Grab a Bolt or catch the train/subway to Sintra from Lisbon’s Center and spend the day exploring gorgeous Palaces and Castles. Make sure you see Pena Palace, Castelo dos Mouros, and Quinta da Regaleira. You can do these by foot, join a tour or even hire a tuk tuk tour guide.

Cascais

Cascais is the premiere holiday destination of the Lisbon coastline. This is a traditional Portuguese fishing town developed into a popular resort destination with no shortage of beaches, cliffside scenery and historic buildings . Make sure you stop for some seafood.

You can grab a Bolt or take the train. The train ride from Lisbon to Cascais takes 30 minutes, leaves approximately every 20 minutes and costs only €2.60.
